December Newsletter 2022

Dear Residents,

Summer and fall construction projects are finished. N. Frank Street is finished for the year, with a final blacktop coat scheduled in the spring. Please keep in mind that $600,000 of this project has been paid in full with tax money and a grant from the state, resulting in no short or long-term debt to residents. Along with the N. Frank Street paving, Dwight Gascho Drive from Park Street to Bliss Street was also resurfaced.

Our next planned infrastructure improvement project will take place in 2024 with a joint project of Berne Street which will be in cooperation with Winsor Township, Village of Pigeon, and the Cooperative Elevator Company. In the recreation park, Pigeon Lions Pavilion Project has been put on hold until Spring.

Many thanks to the volunteer organizer Norma King and the many volunteers for the dedicated work of the Pigeon Food Pantry to provide food for families in our community. Please think about supporting the food pantry as a volunteer, or with a monetary contribution.

Best wishes from your village council, for a happy holiday season and a healthy and prosperous new year.

Sincerely,
Michael LePage
Village President
